Shot during the UCI World Championships - Trials and Mountain Bikes September 2013 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Trials bikes have no saddles, come in two different sizes, and require incredible balance and fitness to ride. In the competition, five faults eliminate the competitor. This is a light-hearted look at the tribulations of keeping a trials' bike going over obstacles without ever touching one's feet on the ground. Judges signal faults with their fingers. There is a time-limit to the course with the fewest faults in the shortest time producing the winner. This innovative course taps into African wildlife.
